After years of planning, construction has finally begun on the spectacular hotel site at Byrknes Island. Groundworks and infrastructure development commenced in October 2024, and it is incredibly rewarding to see excavation and concrete works now well underway, says proud owner Stein Inge Larsen.
Backe Bergen has been appointed as the main contractor, while the hotel consultancy firm Tribun has been engaged as the client's representative, overseeing the project throughout the construction phase. Larsen is delighted to see the vision becoming reality and looks forward to following the next stages of development. The upcoming phase includes the casting of the swimming pool and foundation slab, after which construction will continue at full pace.
