After years of planning, construction has finally begun on the stunning hotel site at Byrknesøy. Groundworks and infrastructure development started as early as October 2024, and it is fantastic to see excavation and concrete works now well underway, says proud owner Stein Inge Larsen.

Backe Bergen has been appointed as the main contractor for the project. Hotel consultancy firm Tribun is serving as the client's representative and will oversee the development throughout the entire construction phase. Larsen is both relieved and excited to see the project moving forward. The next stage includes casting the swimming pool and foundation slab, after which construction will continue at full pace.
